When you can get a coin that has all the features of the hand and the line between the two branches you will get a great coin. Also that year is my younger brothers birth year.
My favorite design of nearly all coins and nice still, to be able to pick up a high grade coin reasonably.
I agree Mr. Nut, I've been working on an expanded 'Short Set' (1938-47 White PCGS MS-65) now for the last few years. Still missing 1939 D & S, 1940 P & S, 1941 S & 1942 S as I've not purchased any new additions now for the last 3 months. Had Generac™ home generator installed and that took a pretty healthy chunk out of the pocket book. Hope to add one of the above this December as a self-gift. Happy Early Turkey day greetings to one & all, J.T.
I love that design and was excited to see it being used on the ASE but now wish they hadn't as every time I see the design, I expect a Walking Liberty only to see an ASE.
I just had my car inspected and I knew it need a new muffler. Over 150,000 miles on the original one, from 16 years ago. My mechanic did the inspection and said it would be between $1200-$1800. He told me where to go to have someone else to the work. I did and they did it the next day. I took it back to the mechanic and he looked at what they did. He passed it and label my car with next years tags, then he asked how much it cost me. I told him it took them an hour and they did the work for under $300. Good thing as I now have all the money to pick up a CSA Note that my dealer friend has on hold for me. That bill will cost me $2800 but I got a $500 discount. I can’t wait to get it.
I forgot to mention I only have a 1997 Ford Explorer (2 Door) with 160,000 on it and a yellow check engine light which makes passing inspection damn near impossible. Each time at the store I cross my fingers before trying to start her. Asi`es la vida!, J.T.
I have a 1995 Toyota Camry, never given me trouble. Just had it’s first muffler. Still has the original tail pipes. I only change the oil regularly, tires when needed, and on its second battery but the third should be soon. Of course, I replace the gas as needed. Lol
