Value is determined largely by the condition or grade of the coin. As for the doubled die - you need to make sure it is one and not mechanical doubling. Can you post a pic ?
That's a new one on me - can't find it on the CONECA site either. I would consider sending it in to CONECA if I were you.
It's an organization of error collectors - Click Here to read all about it. You can find all of the listings for 1945 Lincoln cent doubled die examples by Clicking Here
Thanks for your help -I went to the site and sent a request to have my coin evaluated- There is only four names listed to send it to but one of them lives within an hours drive. I'm sure it will be months though before they can get to it. That coin came from the bottom of a fireman's locker- He retired and cleaned his locker of 33 years- i got some really nice coins out of it.
Much to my surprise the guy from CONECA emailed me this morning and I can send it to him on August 1st. He gave me no opinion based on the photos. And what a deal -$5 and postage!!!
