I found this 1945 where penny And just to the bottom of the 5 there is another 5 or possibly S mint mark .....I'm not sure exactly what it might be so I shared it here to get some opinions on this penny....
Just the shape of the metal combined with the stain that gives it that appearance. A little imagination helps as well.
It might be like @Collecting Nut said too. If you don’t believe him, hang onto it, it’s only a cent. There might be more, no one knows for sure. Just think if you had two. I don’t know anyone who has two.

Not to me it wouldn’t. I think sending this coin in is a waste. A waste of time, money, effort and energy, a complete waste.
If you want to waste your money. They won't even tell you it's a carbon spot, they'll just grade it and charge you.
