1945 walking liberty half dollar

    I hope someone can answer this question for me. I recently purchased a 1945 liberty half dollar from ebay. I noticed what looked like a mint mark on the front where there isn't supposed to be one. I'll attach the pictures in hopes some one can explain it, because I have not seen it on any other liberty half dollar. 1945 walking liberty initials on bottom.jpg 1945 half mint mark.jpg looks like the number 481.

    sry, the pics are bigger on my computer, you may have to download the bottom one and make it bigger with microsogt image viewer.

    I don't know. From the picture, I'm not seeing anything that looks like 481...

    When you were a child, did you ever see or hear monsters in your bedroom after watching a scary, late-night movie? Sorry, but I think your imagination is getting the best of you.

    I hope you didn't pay too much for this Walker because the rim damage is sufficient to keep it from grading. May we see the reverse, please?
