I just got my Cherrypickers guide yesterday and was looking through the coins that were certified and I found a 1945 Walking Liberty graded by PCGS that is missing the designers initials. When a coin is graded they don't automatically check the variety or do you have to pay extra for that. Could someone check the photo to see if I am seeing it correctly.
    Thanks,
    Sandy

Yeah, if you want TPGs to really inspect your coin, instead of just spitting out a grade, you have to tell them what exactly to look for and pay extra.

Thanks, I guess we learn from our mistakes. I had this graded prior to researching the ins and outs of coins, and finding this site.
    Have a happy holiday.

I believe if you send it back to them they will "regrade" it and attribute the error for a minimum price as opposed to teh full price you paid...
