I have a guy wanting to sell me a 1945-S Quarter that I think is RPM-003 & DDR-002 combo. I don't have any reference pics to go by, but the S is a trumpet tail with a wide northwest spread. It's naked eye seen. QUARTER also has a nice spread. Does anyone know of any pics I can compare it to? How much would you be willing to pay for a BU example? I want to offer a fair price if it is what I think it is. Thanks all!
Guy sent me a pics. I have to make an offer tomorrow. I don't think he knows it is a variety at all. I know it is an RPM and I think I see the doubling on QUARTER. Process of elimination says it is the one stated above. I just don't know much about Washingtons and don't have a CPG or a Washington varieties reference book. Thanks again!
Personally you should make him an offer based off of the RPM only. The doubling on any of the letters is subjective unless you have some real clear photo close ups. And quote him MS63 pricing, there's a few nicks on the eagle that will keep the grade down.
Thanks, but I don't know any pricing other than a normal coin. I don't know which RPM it is for sure or how much it goes for. If it is RPM-003, it has to be the DDR-002. They go hand in hand.
