That is in insane condition for a 1945. I go through boxes of pennies and am lucky if I can get a 1957 or 1958 like that! Nice find!

Not IMHO!!! It would cost more than it's worth!!! My 2019 Red Book shows MS-63 RB value is 85 cents, MS-65 RB is $2.00.

 

Definitely not but certainly worth protecting.

Let me put it this way. You got lucky, but not that lucky. Just keep it from harm, it’s a nice find. In 100 years from now, it may be worth a grade. With just over a billion minted, there are just too many in that condition out there still. This could go for maybe a buck, buck-fifty.

Likely turned out into circulation recently from a collection of some sort...hopefully not a stolen one...but sometimes people just don't know what they have and/or need some cash and turn out or cash in their pennies.
