1944P Nickel Lamination error?

    Not sure what I'm looking at, so could use some knowledgeable advice.

    I think the composition of the war nickels led to more frequent planchet errors,
    and laminations. IDK what this is, but I think it's a keeper.

    Yup, that's a lam. @Michael K is correct regarding the composition leading to frequent planchet errors.

    As mentioned, a planchet lamination,
    from improper metal mixture.

    Very common on Warnickels, but
    good eyes to spot it.
