    well just going thru alot of cents i have,,, and can anyone tell me wat this might be worth,,tested with magnet,, not steel,,,,, many thx all

    k,,, just learning all this,, thought i heard somthin bout a 44d from a leftover steel planchet?? like I said just new to all coin collecting

    Hey @macdaddy76442 welcome to CT. The 1943 cents were steel and the 1944 cents were copper, so the one you are looking for is either a 1943 copper or a 1944 steel (attracted to a magnet).
