    Wear and tear from a copper coin that has circulated for 78 years.

    Being new here, I'd like to suggest you spell out what it is you are seeing that makes you question a coin, then we can focus on that, as well as the overall coin. Otherwise, you are going to get some silly answers from some members

    Understand that copper is a very soft metal and manipulates quite easily. It is quite common to find these old wheats battered and bruised.
