Wear and tear from a copper coin that has circulated for 78 years.

Being new here, I'd like to suggest you spell out what it is you are seeing that makes you question a coin, then we can focus on that, as well as the overall coin. Otherwise, you are going to get some silly answers from some members

 

Damaged and only worth what it ddd as ya on the reverse, maybe a cent more.

 

I say make a Wish and throw it in "The Drink"! ..... Not my drink silly.

 

Understand that copper is a very soft metal and manipulates quite easily. It is quite common to find these old wheats battered and bruised.
