    Hey everyone...

So, I was supposed to be writing papers last night. However, I was ACTUALLY looking through my stash of silver quarters in hopes of finding something cool...and I'm pretty sure I have. Check it out and tell me what you think!

1944 D Washington Quarter, Doubled Die Obverse
    FS-25-1944D-101
    CONECA: DDO-002
    PUP: LIBERTY
    URS: 8 (65-125 pieces known)
    I: 3 (moderate interest)
L: 3 (will often sell in a reasonable time period, often to specialists)

    CPG Values:

    XF40: $10
    AU50: $15
    MS60: $30
    MS63: $55
    MS65: $75

The coin (in hand) has an overall brightness to it that makes it look like it was dipped at some point. I.E., it's too evenly shiny for the amount of wear that's evident. But still...it's a cool error to find!

Here's the last one that sold on eBay for $150...looks like the CPG prices are a bit off...PLUS, the good thing is that it's the ONLY one listed on eBay (completed, there are no active listings for this error.) Very excited! (You hate to find an error, only to see 500 of them listed on eBay selling for $5 or less...)

I think was late 2011 or this year in Coin World in his update page.
