1944 D over S ?

    Can't tell anything with those pictures . Bring it to your local Dealer and ask for an opinion.

    It doesn't appear to be according to my guides. The closest possibility is the OMM-2, but it just appears as discoloration or "crud". The OMM-2 has a very distinctive and apparent die scratch between Lincoln's coat and "19" of the date towards the southeast , ending almost directly under the tail of the the "9". Also there are other markers as seen here.
