1944 d over s?... D over D?

I found this coin and would like to know if it is a d over d, d over s, or just my eyes playing tricks on me. All advice will be appreciated. Click to enlarge image.

The top left of the D and the mid back D area looked off to me but ok thanks.

You can compare it to the ones pictured here using more magnification, but I still don't see a match. Sorry
