1944 D Lincoln

    This is the first one of it's kind that I've bought. 1944-D is a special date/mm for me collecting wise, so I always try and get coins that either have a designation (FB, FS etc.) or, if raw (as of in this case), could have a designation. The images are by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job.

    Uh, no actually Chris, the first toner I collected specifically as a toner, ~ 25 years ago, was a MS66 1944-D FB Mercury. X years later I bought a toner 1944-D MS66*5FS Jefferson, and then as any good coin collector junkie with OCD would do, I continued the trend.
