Well I'm going to put in my cents worth ;)
It doesn't look like the ones I've seen. I don't have one here in hand to check better so I have to go by photos and what I remember, but I don't think this is one.

Sorry I have to agree with the others on this one if you look at the 1943 that Jody has in his post that is a good comparison. If you enjoy collecting nickels you might do what I do when I come here, I make a copy of every nickel error or variety picture that is posted here that is of interest to me and use it for future reference. Keep searching rolls there are many more out there just waiting for you to find good luck.

    Bruce.

Still, a cool find. Atleast silver, and looks like a decent grade, not too badly worn. Wouldthat be a F-12 maybe? Probably not much of a difference, but still neat. Do you collect other coins?

    First, welcome.
Second, there is a variety listed that is simply a die crack from the three, and there is the overdate.
I believe that yours is the die crack, no value.
however, check the bottom inner part of the 3 and see if there is a horizontal line across the inner part.
If so, then you have the 3/2 variety.
These are pretty neat, and have cherry picked two in the last year or so.
One is now in an ANACS AU-50 holder.
