Going through a box of halves today I continued my average of two 40%ers and a roll or twos worth of those newer mintage halves.

towards the end I finally spotted it: the distinctive rim of a 90%er, my first ever found CRH in my life. I was expecting a typical Benjamin half or 64 Kennedy, by lo and behold luck was on my side, and it was a pretty decent (G-4?) walking liberty. Possibly dumped back into circulation by a collectors family. IMG_0946.jpeg The groove on the rim are still defined, which was unexpected. I’m considering saving it for the bank teller who orders my boxes since theyve been the only one to actually help me out. (And save me the odd coin here and there) hoping they’ll be able to get me some large dollars at some point IMG_0947.jpeg

The rims are still distinct on both sides…I would say it’s closer to VG8/F12 on the Walker…
