1943 Steel Penny

I have just bought this steel penny and was wondering if it was cleaned. If not, could it be worth anything?

I may be wrong, and it's been known to happen, but I think your coin has been reprocessed. It's awfully shiny to be original. Look at the edge. In original condition, these will not have zinc plating on the edge.

 

Oh, well it came bundled with some other coins so not a complete loss then...
