1943 Steel Penny DD?

    Alright, I know you guys love crushing my dreams of what I'm perusing through. (jk). Curious as to why one of my 43 steels date and "Liberty" are slightly thicker, closer together than any of my others or any other "Liberty" or Dates of that year I'm comparing to. Heard there was a DD error, if I'm not mistaken on this one.     I can't see any doubling (maybe the photos are too
    far away to see it), but I do see mostly re-plated
    Steel cents.

    They look replated to me and that could cause what you are seeing.
