1943 steel cent reverse

    Was told this was damage on the uscoin page. Let me know your thoughts.
    The last "A" in AMERIC"A" left side.
    Damage or Error...

    Seen that coin on here before, its hard to tell with the age, circulation damage, its possibly struck through, but I cant tell with these pictures, could be post mint damage, either way its too damaged for me to determine from the pictures. perhaps other opinions will benefit you. I can say from my prospective it has no value more than a circulated steel cent. just damaged.

    The rust alone makes it damaged. I just purchased at my local coin shop 1943 steel Cents, P, D and S mints all for the low price of 6 for $1.00. That's just under $.17 cents each and I got to pick my own from a box that contained over 500 steel Cents. Some were reprocessed or replated, others were rusted and others were normal circulation wear. It's time to move onto something bigger and better.
