Hello everyone, I just found this Steelie in an eBay roll and it is in pristine condition not to mention it is an RPM and has eye lid doubling.

I'm considering adding it to the ones to send for slabbing if it's worth it.

    Any ideas on it's value?

Thats in great shape. I'd say maybe MS64/MS65? If MS65, about $19. Not worth a whole lot for slabbing.

it cost me approx 10 cents... well worth the initial investment.

    Thanks for your opinion.

Unless you know some short cuts, slabbing will cost you $40++ once you include shipping. Unless you get a 67, you may lose money. I cannot see your coin well enough to tell you it is a 67.

Yeah, I'm thinking just a nice coin to have around but not for slabbing.
These pictures really do not do it justice, it has great eye appeal.

I have to agree with some of the others on the slabbing of this steelie.

I know I stated on another thread that unless I feel a coin will grade AU or better I won't slab it, another factor I consider is the denomination and potential value after slabbing as well.

For me, a slabbed steelie is not worth the bother. At best a MS-65 43-S steelie has a price range of $15 - $20, add in $40 for the grading, plus shipping, no one will pay over $60 for one slabbed.

    I sure wouldn't.

I think it's a really great looking coin.
    Congrats on the pull.
