I received a 1943 S Jefferson nickel in my change from a gas station. It is gold in color and weighs 5.7 grams. Any info?

It could be toning or plated but you will have to add a close up photo, not blurred, to get a better answer. Welcome to Coin Talk.

    It should weigh 5.0.
It's prob still real and worth silver value .80 cents.

If it is real 5.7 grams could be far enough out of spec to command a modest premium. Assuming the gold color is from toning and not someone very heavily plating or painting it.

hard to discern anything without closeup, in focus pictures of both sides and the edge.
