1943 possible DDR?

    Look like doubling on the "United States of America" and the left leaf stalk. What do you guys think?

    I may be wrong but I believe that what you have is an old Reprocessed (Re-Zinc'ed) Steel Cent and what appears to be doubling, is actually a problem that occurs with the Reprocessing. I have seen many Reprocessed Steel Cents with the same problems...especially on the Date and Mintmark.

    Jess, I have to agree with Frank on this one. I think the U you are seeing is from the replating.

    Let me get back to you on those extra pics of the OBV. My Re-chargeable batteries are not very re-chargeable anymore and I have to buy more.
