It's worth about a nickel. These were mass produced and millions remain in better condition than this. Commonly known as a "steely", zinc coated steel as Paddy said, which makes them magnetic. They weigh approx 2.7 grams. The US needed the copper for their WW2 effort.

With 217,660,000 coins minted at the Denver mint in 1943, these coins are still quite common. Your coin is not an error- all coins in 1943 were made of steel to conserve copper for the war effort. Many coin shops sell ones in better condition for 25 cents. So, unfortunately, you won’t become a millionaire off your steel cent.
