IMG_9107.jpeg IMG_9106.jpeg IMG_9103.jpeg What’s up with this very prominent line going through his head? Is it a die break? Thanks

That's a lamination error.... I am not your error expert but can tell you those are very prominent on war nickels. Cool coin!

    Planchet issue. Lamination Crack.

A die crack is created when the break is on the die.
For a die break or die crack, when the die strikes the blank planchet the metal from the blank will flow into the void and appear raised on the coin. That's the big difference.

Haha I like how you to put that. And the search continues for the random coin that makes me rich one day

Yep. Major lamination. Common on War nickels. I guess they had lots of issues with the wartime-alloy planchets, as @Heavymetal mentioned.
