1943 nickel

    I posted a thread about this find about a month ago and wasn't able to post pictures. here they are:

    The color of the coin is different on the obverse and reverse only because the reverse picture was taken inside and the obverse outside.

    Looks like a normal war nickel. Always a nice find. Am I missing something?

    Maybe he didn't know it was a war nickel? They have some silver content and are worth more than normal nickels. ;-)

    Not everyone on here in an expert -- I'm definitely not!

    My bad. I re-read my post and I guess I came off rude. That wasn't the intent at all. I was just curious if there was something I was supposed to be looking for. Perhaps I should have started with his thread from last month ;)
    And I am not an expert by any stretch of the word :)

    I know it's nothing special. I should have said that in the post. I just wanted to post a picture since I wasn't able to before. I guess I should have attached the photo to the original thread.

    Meh, it's special in that it's 70 years old and has silver. Either of those are good enough for me.
