Really looks like a re-plated coin, so I don't know what you can tell.

The 1943 cent coins were struck on zinc coated steel blanks. The zinc wore quickly and also toned to a dark color so that many of the cents looked dark and bad in a short time. It has long been a practice to put these discolored or corroded cents in a bath that plated new zinc over the old coin, making a much nicer looking coin that had no collector value. Unfortunately your coin looks like that to me. Good conversation piece, but of limited numismatic value. Now wait until some people chime in who know more than me.

Your coin is pitted and looks like it may have been reprocessed/replated.
The 1943 cents do carry there fair share of Die Cracks, But do not really add any value. A 1943-D has always been a hard one for me to find in decent condition. I will say that your coin is on the very low end of Numismatic Value.
