does anyone know of a 1943 steel penny cut by the die. it has a little notch cut out of it. I will send a pic when I figure out how. I have seached a lot on the internet an found nothing. I wonder what it would be worth? my son is 29 and has been collecting coins all his life. he came home with this penny an said nobody seems to know anything about it. any help will be apreaciated.thank you

welcome to the forum!:high5: since its on a 1943 cent i have an idea it is post mint becuase someone probaly just cut it to see what was in the middle since it is a steel cent and they didn't know what it was made of. just a thought but probaly wrong. post a picture!
