1943 Australia One Penny Error Coin

    I picked this coin up for .35 cents at a local dealers last week. I know its not very valuable but still a neat coin.

    It's a nice, clean penny, but a die crack is not an error.

    As a bit of perspective, I know a lot of Aussies who collect die crack coins, particularly the pre-decimals. I'm not sure about this year, but the KGV pennies with large die cracks are worth a premium--in Australia.

    This particular die on the '43 Perth has been discussed on another board. People like this one :thumb:
