    looks like a DDO to me. as for value, no idea, wait for the experts.
    now to wait for rickmp to critisize my post about somthing.
    (i bet you i spelt critisixze wrong and this coin will turn out to be MD.)

    i have seen several MD coins sell for $80-$120 on ebay. and i mean SELL not listed. but they sold.

    It is machine doubling, not worth much.

    Can you provide links to those auctions? I bet they were probably more valuable coins than common wheat cents, which is why they could have gone that high. The OP's coin is not even close to being worth anywhere near those prices.

    When both the date and mint mark show doubling on these wheats and early memorials it's pretty much a dead giveaway for strike doubling as the mint marks were hand-punched into the dies.
