1942 P Nickel

    so this nickel looks alot more shinny than normal? can anyone tell me what it is, why and or what could have made it this way??

    Yes very thoroughly polished. And just in case you didn't know, your nickel is silver. Identifiable by the large mintmark above Monticello and released during the war years as nickel was required for the war effort at the time.
