1942 Netherlands 10 Cents

    I have one but can't find any references to this coin under Netherlands or related countries. Any info would be appreciated!

    Hey whine maker,
    This information can be found in Standard Catalog of World Coins( I have the 2006 ed):
    1942 - mintage: 95,600,000 - weight:3.3000g ,Zinc, size:22mm Value Fine .25 to BU $10 (2006 value)

    But it's a KM163

    Thank you for your reply. You're probably referring to km 173. Sorry, I didn't specify that the Netherlands 10 cent piece I have appears to be a km163 with Wlihelmina.

    1942 Nederland 10 Cents from Suriname

    The Netherlands 1942 zinc 10 Cents km#173 is worth $0.25 in F-12; $0.50 in VF-20; $2.00 in XF-40; and $5.00 in uncirculated. There is also a Suriname 1942 silver (0.0288 troy ounces) 10 Cents km#9 which is worth $3.00 in F-12; $6.00 in VF-20; $12.00 in XF-40; and $25.00 if uncirculated which is almost identical to the silver Netherlands 10 Cents of the same era but has a Palm Tree privy mark and a P mintmark on either side of the reverse bow.

    Ok , being that you specified the coin more clearly : )It appears to be a KM#9 -1942P Palm Obv: Queen Wilhelmina, Rev:Orange wreath - weight:1.4000g,0.6400 Silver,.0288oz ASW. Mintage:1,500,000 , Value:(2006) Fine $3 to Unc.$25. It's listed under the country Suriname.
