1942 mercury dime, i need help

    i was lookin at the pcgs website about a 1942 mercury dime and i am fairly new to coin collecting so where on the coin do i find out if it is an s or d or p?

    On the reverse (or tails side) to the left of the fasces at the bottom.

    Then it was minted in philadelphia.

    By "1," do you mean 1942/1 overdate. If you have a magnifying glass, you can put it under there and see if there's a 1 under the 2.

    no its not an overdate
    the site just say 1942/1
