1942 Jefferson Nickel Lamination Error?

    It's not in great condition, maybe VG10 with the scratches. However is that a lamination error around the chin / neck / collar?

    Appears to be a lam
    If it’s a wartime silver mix, that’s common. One of mine IMG_4589.jpeg

    I do have a 1944-S silver that looks like it has lamination error on the reverse though. However, it's in worse shape (I'm guessing only G06) and not as dramatic as yours.

    Lamination errors on nickels from the forties are on the common side. With or without silver makes no difference in the value. That is also a lamination crack on the 1944-S nickel.
