    No, those are just tiny hits on it, maybe a little strike doubling. A handsome coin, though.

    Look at it this way: Since 1942 ( 81 years ago ) there exists a high probability that all of the varieties have been identified and catalogued.

    If you suspect you have found a variety coin go to Variety Vista, Wexler or (in this case) Lincolncentresource.com and confirm it by finding a match for your coin. If you don’t find a match odds are it isn’t a variety.

    Doing it this way helps you learn and helps you avoid wasting time unneccessarily.
