Can't tell what it is from the image. I'm sure it's not the big one.

thanks, i'm just looking for opinions, not attitudes and I appreciate you giving me your opinion. That's all I'm looking for. I'm sorry about the picture quality, I really do need to get me a better microscope, the one I have you have to hold on to the entire enclosure to press the button to take the picture and of course, while you're holding it, it shakes some and then when you press the button, it shakes a bit more. Very hard to get a good picture like that. I wonder if anyone here knows of a good microscope/camera that can take good pictures up close....that would be truly helpful...

I presume that it is a P issue.

In that event, it is NOT the 42/1.

Altho, even if it is the Denver, still not the overdate.

Agreed not the over date. One of the markers is the 4 would be doubled

Not the 1942/41 overdate. On the 42/41 overdate, one can clearly see the 1 in front of the 2.

No, it is neither of the 1942/41 Double Die Obverse ( Type III) dimes.

They are not actually an Overdate, but a DDO, and the older false description still is around.

The mint mark is a D issue, it's on the reverse side just for the curious.
