does anybody know if there is any known errors in these years and if so what would they be and are these worth more having all the years together like they are ,
Check the 1942 P for doubling on the reverse (Half Dollar) and the 1946 P for STRONG doubling on the reverse (easiest place to look is the wing feathers of the eagle, plus the vertical line by it's back (eagle's left) foot. Those are the two biggies.
As far as value, I could go to a LCS (local coin shop) today and pick up similar quality coins for a little more than silver melt value (about $6-8) each. Having a run of dates in this condition and the later, more common dates, doesn't help you in terms of resale value.
well this isn't a 42 or 46 but is a 1944 and it has pretty good d/d on the reverse in the USA lettering does that count for an error ?
