This is RPM 005. It looks like a large over small mint mark to me, but is not described that way. Thoughts?
It is described as being south, southeast.I would be inclined to say yes but im no expert at all...
The one S does look a slight bit smaller than the other but is there that small of a difference between the two? Usually the small s is small and the large S is obviously bigger. Just looking at the photos you may have a small or large that was repunched with the same size S. I would take it to a dealer that understands RPM's and OPM's and get their opinion. I had a 1954 jefferson nickel with what I thought was an S/D mint mark. Took it to a dealer and it turns out I have a S/S.
Looks like it could possibly be this one.http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1941&die_id=1941s1mm005&die_state=mds See if you can match up the die markers to your's. If it is #005 I'm sure it would already have been ID'd as a large over small.
