The "PMD" on the reverse is raised....a lot. You can even see the shadow. Someone told me solder once. I was not convinced. Not disputing heat exposure as well, though.
I don't see an error, but you need to ask yourself, "If this is a Mint error, at what stage of the minting process could this have occurred?" You also must realize that there are countless ways that post-mint damage could have caused this. Sure, we can speculate from here to eternity about the true cause, but when you get right down to it, it is still damage. Chris
