1941 LWC - Please convince me if this is PMD or...

    Looks to be exposed to a lot of heat.

    The "PMD" on the reverse is raised....a lot. You can even see the shadow. Someone told me solder once. I was not convinced.

    Not disputing heat exposure as well, though.

    Not an error. Just damage. Nothing to explain.

    I don't see an error, but you need to ask yourself, "If this is a Mint error, at what stage of the minting process could this have occurred?"

    You also must realize that there are countless ways that post-mint damage could have caused this. Sure, we can speculate from here to eternity about the true cause, but when you get right down to it, it is still damage.
