Just thought I would share one that I found in my change today.

    Nicely worn also.
Really good for a circulation find.

Great find! Weird, I actually found a 1945 penny in my change a couple weeks ago. Mine, of course, was worn and mangled, though, not as nice as yours.

I've only been through about $10 worth of pennies so far and also found a 41. I know I sound like a noob but I'm excited like the OP. Since the OP made this thread should I consider this a rare thing or is it a semi-random surprise? I know I was pretty happy to find such an older coin in a roll but am so new to this I don't know what the norm is. I am glad to see that someone else was as excited to find one of these as I was, Stewart!

    Congrats johnnyflesh,
I have found that over the years if I find anything in the 70'sor before I get excited and
even if i find one that is nice red uncirculated 80's I get excited.
To find a wheat from the forty's that was in decent shape and nicely toned
to boot was cool for me.
The Mrs. says I am easily amused though:too-funny:

It's always amazing when coins like this are found in change! Nice find!
