1941 Error Nickel

    I had a cashier actually tell me to "keep this" as I was cashing in some change yesterday. I looked and the 1 in 1941 has an obvious smudge on and above it. I am new to this so please correct my terminology on the error if incorrect. :)

    I think I might see a die break on the 1 in 1941. Worth about a dollar, if it's even an error.

    I think damage after it left the Mint. Notice the displacement of metal between the 1 & 4. Looks like it took a good, hard hit.
