I got a new scope and had to try it out. Gets good pictures! Makes it easier to see the legitimate details of a DD. Its still looks better under a plain old magnifying glass but its hard to photograph like that. I wish this coin were in better shape...might be worth something. VV shows like $750 for 66....if thats even accurate.

I found this one about 6 months back. Best part was I noticed it without any visual aid. When you look at it you can see the "Y" just sitting there. Even though it would grade low, it might be fun to send it in some day,

Nice find. I would like to see full coin photos if you would post them.

Yep it matches with my eyes too. It has the right angle and also the left upper "arm" of the Y in LIBERTY is slightly separated, which matches as well. Very nice find and good eye!

Now on condition, based on your very close pictures of the lettering and the main bust, it looks to be in the high VF/XF range, which would get you about $30-45. It's definitely nowhere close to MS66.

VF/XF would be a gift lol! This is just my Iphone and you can see it pretty good. I thought about trying to get that crap off the reverse but then decided to just leave it. I wouldnt know of a safe way. Not that this coin is in any kind of shape but I still wouldnt want to make it worse.

@MatrixMP-9 see how people often request whole shots of coins that are purported to be errors?
