I have seen plenty of war nickel lamination issues. This came from an old collection/hoard that had not been touched in 40 years. Does it have any value beyond .05 cents? Are these common for those that search out errors?

    Thanks ~ Darryl

This actually has a little more value than a war nickel, but the price of silver is thru the roof so one has to take that into consideration. I have 100's of lincoln cent laminations, but don't collect nickel lams, but to the right collector it may be worth 3 - 5 dollars...

I have some nickel laminations too Darryl, but don't know if they have any value. I'll defer to abe on that one. I think they're neat to have, but probably fairly common.

i asked this same questions a few weeks back and i was told that if its a valued coin before lamination then its devalued and likewise if its a common its of value. However i was also told this wasnt 100% .I just ebayed the one i had with laminations and it hurt the value..carl
