1940 NICKEL

    There are a lot of copies of U.S. coins being made in different types of metals these days. Copper is one of them. They are sold in varying weights including 1/2 & 1 ounce rounds. This might be one of them. Possibly even 1/4 ounce.

    It's a copy. Not a good one, either.

    I don't see anything in your photos to indicate it's silver. It's just a token and not even legal to spend.

    If it didn't have the word "COPY" on it, it would be a "real" counterfeit.
