1940 Nazi Germany Reichspfennig coin

    This was a gift from a family member. They said they found it in a gumball machine or vending machine. Any opinions? IMG_0700.JPG IMG_0701.JPG
    Oh and I got this cool Chest to keep it in (don't mind the other object :))

    Some collect coins from the third Reich period. This example is scarcer with the B (Vienna) mintmark, but still common. Not a valuable coin at all in that condition, but circulated right in the middle of WWII. Possibly a bring home from someone in the military at the time.

    Can still sometimes find these and other denominations in "junk" boxes of coins of $0.25-$1

    Yeah they're not rare but people still collect them. I always buy them to resell if they're not too oxidized.

    While I know this may be controversial, I like gumballs. My opinion is they should bring those machines back in all the stores.
