My initial thought was a die clash but couldn't find a match using the overlay. IMG_20220103_002651.jpg IMG_20220103_002551.jpg IMG_20220103_000830.jpg IMG_20220103_000837.jpg

Die gauge?.. Definitely not a clash.

Found die gouges on the 2021 P Nickel right thru the eye. Probably 500 of them. But no extra value added. Well at least I dont think so. Tossed into the wild. But very slight gouge.

Here's a die clash on one of these running under the neck. See where it pops out on both ends. This is on a 1972-D. The first thing you should be doing when trying to attribute these is study an overlay of the dies. You can find those on the Internet. If it doesn't line up, it isn't from a clash.
