1940 grease strike error?

    I found this while looking at my coins. I am wondering if this is a grease strike error 20220411_2159_010_0.000.jpg the "L" (just the side 'caving in' on the obverse) I believe might be after mint damage if not pls lmk. 20220411_2359_011_0.000.jpg

    The "d", "f", and "e" on the reverse thanks in advance.
