Picked this up at NYINC, dealer knocked $10 off his price, he had two, this and another. He had it graded MS 66. What do you think it would grade/what would be an appropriate price tag? It looks great, except for a scratch on liberty's cheek which I noticed after I took pics.

Beautiful Merc you have there slamster! Is it gold toned like that in hand or is that just the lighting for the image?

Just a little around the liberty more of a brown, it is just the lighting. I was focused on taking pictures of the surfaces close. It is white/silver in hand except around the Liberty on obverse.

The reverse to me looks like it could 66, but I see a couple marks on the obverse. It appears to have full bands. The value doesn't change much between 65-66 and because it's raw, I would think it would sell for around $15-$20.
PCGS 1940 D graded 65 FB mercury dimes sell for $30 on ebay.

When you get in 67, then the price jumps significantly.

Thanks! So I did alright. I think he dropped it from $35 to $20. Should have picked up the other too. I've been itching for another nice Merc. I get lost when I find a grade not listed in the redbook :/
