1939S Lincoln wheat question

    I have a 1939 S wheat and i just noticed that it has a mark right above the 9. It looks like a 1 or a zero, granted it could be just a ding. Any information?

    I don't have a scanner right now(well i do but it doesnt work) so no picture.

    Without a pic, it is just about impossible to tell for sure. However, I have heard of nothing resembling what you are describing so it is probably a ding.
