1939 ddo?

    I not 100% but it's in horrible condition but you can see on vest,tie,rty,19 which is main onesite and I think the eyelid . It's hard trying get decent pics of this one

    Based on your photo's I'm not seeing it there are several for that year try this link and see if you can't match it up I was unable to. Jmo

    Not that I can see. What I do see is a nice looking, circulated 1939 cent with a nice patana and it is by no means in "horrible condition".

    Spell check: patina, it's a thin layer that occurs on the surface of the coin over time. It gives it that nice sheen.

    If the part that you mention as doubled eyelid was in the other direction , I would say it was a great chance to be DDO-004 as the 'hazy and dinged' doubling on the date is close to match for the difference in grade of your coin and the sample here.

    But due to the honest wear on the coin and the blow ups , I wouldn't say so by the photos as I would be assuming too much. Use you loupe and check the date and eyelid as much as you can. The 1 and first 9 is most interesting.
