This is a so called dollar HK-493, only 100 minted by Medallic Art Co., for Thomas Elder, back in the day Thomas Elder was a rock star in the coin world aka: coin star! lol.gif Anyways I bought this a little over a year ago, had it tested it's 18k which is good but it's a little guy, 15mm and only 1.75 grams. So to get to my point, anyone ever see one of these in a Capital Holder like this? Strange holder as normally you can unscrew the plastic screws and open these up but not this one. I'm thinking maybe they were sold in these holders, hopefully someone here knows? I hate to break it open to have it graded but maybe I have no choice. Anyone? :D
